Arminfo.  On September 10 and 15, as a result of an inspection conducted by the Public Order Service of the Yerevan Municipality at 22 pharmacies of the “Vaga Pharm” company operating in Yerevan, 25 cases of administrative violations were выявлены.

Arminfo. The participation of only one candidate in local self-government (LSG) elections in certain communities of Armenia indicates the undermining of democracy in the country. Secretary of the parliamentary faction “Strong Armenia” Tigran Abrahamyan said this on the 17th in a conversation with journalists, responding to a question about why only one candidate—and that candidate from the “Civil Contract” party—is participating in the electoral process in the Tumanyan community of Lori Province.

ArmInfo.  The Eurasian Development Bank (EDB) has presented a new analytical report, «The Architecture of Industrial Transformation in Developing Economies», analyzing how developing countries can transition to the high-income category and establish themselves sustainably in this group. Based on a study of the historical experience of industrialization, modern theories of industrial policy, and the approaches of the World Bank and the IMF, EDB analysts propose a three-stage architecture of industrial transformation that enables external technologies and investments to be converted into domestic production capabilities, human capital, and innovation.

ArmInfo. “We began the process of replacing the border guards long before the visa liberalization process,” Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan told journalists during a briefing on September 17, rejecting the assertion that the reason for changing the Russian border services was preparations for visa liberalization with the EU.
