ArmInfo.  When transporting cargo, carriers often encounter problems related not to the vehicles, but to the cargo itself. This was stated on May 7 by Armen Simonyan, Deputy Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure of the Republic of Armenia, during the submission for ratification of the  protocol to the Armenian-Kazakhstani agreement "On International  Automobile Communications".

ArmInfo.  A memorandum was signed with the Agarak Copper and Molybdenum Combine on the transfer of a 15th-16th century church located near the combine to another location. ArmInfo.  Today, for the first time since its initial recognition in 2019, the Council of Washington, DC, unanimously recognized the Armenian Genocide,  emphasizing the importance of educating DC residents about the crime.  The ceremonial resolution, led by Ward 6 Councilmember Charles Allen,  was adopted by unanimous consent, 12-0. 

ArmInfo.  The preliminary investigation conducted by the RA Anti- Corruption Committee within the framework of the criminal case established that two chief inspectors of the regional center of the Vayots Dzor Food Safety  Inspectorate (FSI) of the RA received bribes from various business  entities and also committed official forgery.

ArmInfo. A monument to the hero of the Great Patriotic War, liberator and Honorary Citizen of the city Ghukas Madoyan has been erected in Rostov-on-Don. The initiative of the Nakhichevan-on-Don Armenian community was supported by the regional and city authorities, and on May 6, a solemn ceremony of opening the monument took place on Madoyan Avenue.

ArmInfo.  Former captain of the Armenian national football team Henrikh Mkhitaryan reached the UEFA Champions League finals for the second time in two years as part of Milan's Inter. In the return match with Barcelona, Inter beat the Catalan team with a score of 4:3 and advanced to the final on  aggregate (7:6).

ArmInfo.  Deputy Foreign Minister of Russia Mikhail Galuzin and Turkish Ambassador to Russia Tanju Bilgic exchanged views on the situation around the Ukrainian crisis and the state of affairs in the South Caucasus at a meeting in Moscow. As reported by the press service of the Russian Foreign  Ministry, the parties touched upon the topic of Central Asia. It is  noted that the meeting was held in a constructive manner.
