ArmInfo. The opening of Wizz Air's base in Armenia was the result of the RA government's painstaking work. This was stated by RA Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan during the RA government hour on May 7, in response to a question from Anna Grigoryan, a member of the NA from the opposition faction "Armenia".

Hayk Konjoryan, head of the Civil Contract faction in the National Assembly of Armenia, believes  that the initiative of the "We Are on Alert " movement to express no confidence in Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan is merely squabbles between opposition parties and a race for the title of the <best oppositionist>. He also rules out the possibility that the ruling faction MPs will join this initiative.

ArmInfo.  Armenian-Cypriot defense cooperation matters were addressed at a meeting in Greece between Defense Ministers of Armenia and Cyprus Suren Papikyan and Vasilis Palmas. Papikyan left for Greece on a working visit on May 6.  As reported by the press service of the Armenian Defense Ministry, Suren  Papikyan and Vasilis Palmas also discussed regional and international  security issues.

ArmInfo.  The fraternal cemetery in Stepanakert, which was occupied by Azerbaijan,  has been subjected to vandalism precisely on the eve of  events commemorating the 80th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War, as noted in a statement by the Ombudsman of Culture of the Armenian Highlands, posted on Facebook.  The Ombudsman highlighted that this cemetery holds great historical significance as a symbol of the Armenian  people's contribution to the fight against fascism, with individuals  from Armenia and the Diaspora playing crucial roles.

The National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia is discussing amendments to the law "On assessing the functionality of a person" and the Code of Administrative Offenses in the second and  final reading at the plenary session on May 7.
