Speaking at a recent meeting of the Advisory Council of the Southern Gas Corridor in Baku,  Turkish Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Alparslan Bayraktar announced plans to supply electricity produced in Azerbaijan to Turkey through the territory of Nakhchivan and then on to Europe. In fact, this statement hints at the idea of the so-called "Zangezur  Corridor" as an already implemented project. French  Foreign Minister Jean-Noel Barrot wrote about this in his Twitter microblog (X).  "110 years after the terrible day of April 24, 1915, all of France continues to honor the memory of the victims of the Armenian Genocide. Standing alongside Armenia to defend, justice and peace," the diplomat wrote.

The protesters expressed dissatisfaction  with the application of a 10% turnover tax rate instead of the  previously applied 5%.
