ArmInfo. Rumors about the closure of the Russian Stanislavsky Drama Theater do not correspond to reality. The director of the theater, Frederick Davtyan, stated this  at a press conference on October 16.

The National  Academic Theater of Opera and Ballet named after Alexander  Spendiaryan will host the Armenian premiere of the Manon opera by the  famous French composer Massenet on October 7 in the framework of the  Summit of the Francophonie, and the gala performance will be held on  October 10.

ArmInfo.  The staff of the Yerevan  Stanislavsky Russian Drama Theater addressed an open letter to  Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan for help, hoping to implement  the promises of the new Minister of Culture of the country.

ArmInfo. In the evening of  October 31, after a serious long illness, the artistic director of  the Yerevan Stanislavskiy Russian Drama Theater, Alexander Grigoryan,  died.

ArmInfo. The XV International Theater Festival High Fest with the assistance of the Ministry of Culture of Armenia will be held from 1 to 8 October. The jubilee 15th High Fest will be held under the slogan "We are 15 years young".

ArmInfo. In Yerevan a solemn meeting took place at the theatre named after K.S. Stanislavski on the occasion of 25th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Russia and Armenia.  At the beginning of the meeting the participants  honored memory of Petersburg underground blast victims with a minute  of silence.
