ArmInfo.The blockade of the Kashatagh (Lachin) corridor needs to end as soon as possible, and all  illegal checkpoints must be removed. This was stated by MEP, Permanent Rapporteur on Armenia at European Parliament Andrey Kovatchev.

ArmInfo. President of the Republic of Artsakh, Arayik Harutyunyan, has taken decisive action by sending letters to heads of all UN Security Council member states, the UN Secretary General, the OSCE Chairperson-in-Office, the President of the European Council, the Secretary General of the Council of Europe, as well as the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia, urging them to fulfill their international obligations and promptly implement effective measures to halt the illegal and complete blockade imposed on Artsakh by Azerbaijan, and to put an end to the systematic mass crimes and acts of terrorism against the people of Artsakh.

ArmInfo. From June 15  this year, the people of Artsakh are facing the threat of physical  violence and have been living off internal resources for a month now.  State Minister of the Republic of Artsakh Gurgen Nersisyan stated on  July 14 at the Renaissance Square in Stepanakert.

ArmInfo. Nikol Pashinyan, who  announced in 2018 the need to bring Artsakh at the negotiating table  and promised to fight for Artsakh's right to self-determination in  2021, now recognizes Artsakh as part of Azerbaijan. ArmInfo. Moscow supports any  constructive mediation that leads to peace between Baku and Yerevan.  This was stated by representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry,  Maria Zakharova, in response to a request to comment on the meeting  of Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev with Prime Minister Nikol  Pashinyan, mediated by President of the European Council, Charles  Michel, in Brussels, which is scheduled for July 15.

ArmInfo. On 11 July, the Azerbaijani side once again blocked the movement of the ICRC vehicles through the illegally established checkpoint in the Lachin Corridor, thereby grossly violating both the norms of international humanitarian law and Azerbaijan's own obligations under the Trilateral Statement of 9 November 2020 and the ICJ orders of 22 February and 6 July 2023. The fact that Azerbaijan justifies this unlawful and inhumane act by alleging the transportation of "unauthorised items" such as mobile phones, cigarettes and fuel on ICRC vehicles only proves the ongoing transport, food and energy blockade of Artsakh and the acute shortage of essential goods, as well as Baku's hostile and inhumane attitude towards the people of Artsakh. This is stated in the statement of the Foreign Ministry of Artsakh.

ArmInfo. It has already been 7 months since the Azerbaijani authorities have illegally blocked the Lachin corridor, the lifeline linking Nagorno- Karabakh with the outer world. This is stated in the statement of the Armenian Foreign Ministry, the press service of the RA MFA reports.

ArmInfo. This morning, at the  illegally installed checkpoint over the Hakari Bridge in the Lachin  corridor, the Azerbaijani side again blocked the entry of the  vehicles transporting patients and their accompanying people to  Artsakh, as well as the already limited amount of medicines  transported from Armenia to Artsakh by the International Committee of  the Red Cross (ICRC). This time Azerbaijan used the false pretext of  "smuggling". This is stated in the statement of the Human Rights  Defender of the Republic of Artsakh.
