ArmInfo. In Armenia, 80.3% of respondents are against changing the Constitution of the Republic of  Armenia. According to the results of the "Constitution - Napkin" survey conducted by the consulting company MPG - the exclusive representative of the International Association GALLUP in Armenia, at  the beginning of the year, there were much fewer speakers against changing the Constitution (38.1%).

ArmInfo.The Armenian delegation, headed by RA Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan, will take part in a high-level political forum on sustainable development in New York. This follows from the order of the Chairman of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia Alen Simonyan, who was traveling as part of the Armenian delegation and the Vice Speaker of the National Assembly Hakob Arshakyan.

ArmInfo. Armenia will be able to protect its interests even if pro- Azerbaijani forces come to power  in Tehran, Washington, Moscow, Tbilisi, and Ankara at the same time, provided that "statists" are in power in Armenia. The latter, if they pursue a competent foreign policy, will even be able to enlist the support of these forces. This is the opinion of political scientist, co-founder of the group "Alternative Projects" Vahe Hovhannisyan.

ArmInfo.Forensic medical and forensic genetic examinations were conducted to establish the  identities of presumably two Armenian servicemen, whose remains were handed over by Azerbaijani side to Armenia yesterday.

The creative team of the film festival decided to give a new additional meaning to this ceremony, replacing the red carpet with carpets woven by local carpet weavers according to sketches by artist David Kochunts, which make up the Point of Reference collection.

ArmInfo.The Government of Armenia does not fully meet the minimum standards for the elimination  of trafficking but is making significant efforts to do so. The government demonstrated overall increasing efforts compared with the previous reporting period; therefore Armenia remained on Tier 2,  the State Department's 2024 Trafficking in Persons (TIP) Report reads.

ArmInfo. Atom Egoyan's new film, the drama "Seven Veils", will open the 21st  Golden Apricot  Yerevan International Film Festival (GAIFF) 2024., which will be held in Yerevan from July 7 to 14. The world premiere of the film took place last September at the Toronto Film Festival.

ArmInfo.The National Security Service (NSS) of Armenia has initiated legislative amendments to the  law , which will allow employees of the NSS of Nagorno-Karabakh to take up a vacant position in the authorized body of the national security of the Republic of  Armenia. The project, posted on the unified portal of legal acts e-draft.am, was supported by about 80% of respondents.

ArmInfo. A cooperation agreement will be signed between the People's Movement "Mother Armenia" and the law office "ArmConsul" to organize free legal and advocacy support for compatriots who are internally displaced from Artsakh.
