ArmInfo.The Institute of  Molecular Biology of the National Academy of Sciences of Armenia is  awaiting the decision of the Ministry of Health of the Republic to  organize the production of tests for COVID-19. Director of the  Institute Arsen Arakelyan stated this at a press conference in  Yerevan on July 1.

ArmInfo. The team of lawyers of  the leader of the Prosperous Armenia party Gagik Tsarukyan filed an  appeal requesting that the absence of reasonable grounds for doubting  his guilt be approved. Tsarukyan's lawyer Smbat Minasyan said this on  his Facenook page.  <We submitted an appeal against the decision of  the court of first instance of general jurisdiction of Yerevan to  consider the application for the use of arrest as a preventive  measure against Gagik Tsarukyan.  We asked the court to consider as  approved the absence of reasonable grounds for doubt, as well as the  fact of violation of a number of other issues raised by us in the  court of first instance>, Minasyan noted.  Recall that charges were  brought against Tsarukyan on the grounds of part 2 of Article 154.2  (bribing voters) of the RA Criminal Code.

ArmInfo.In Armenia, 54% of coronavirus patients who are in critical condition recovered. This was announced on May 15 by the Minister of Health of the Republic of  Armenia Arsen Torosyan in an interview with the Armenian service of  Radio Liberty.

ArmInfo. A decision to extend social assistance programs in connection with COVID-19 has not yet been made. Minister of Labor and Social Affairs of the Republic of Armenia Zaruhi Batoyan announced at a press conference on April 14, talking about extending the terms of the state of emergency until May  14 of this year. According to her, it is worth thinking in the  direction of implementing long-term measures, which may also be in  the form of a revision of state programs.
