ArmInfo.The prosecutor's office rejected the request of the lawyer Serzh Sargsyan against the decision of the Special Investigation Service (CCC) to arrest the  property of the third president of Armenia. The press secretary of  the Prosecutor General's Office Arevik Khachatryan stated this in an  interview with ArmInfo correspondent.

ArmInfo.In 2019, Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan demonstrated his ability to hold up well. Leading researcher at the Center for Euro-Atlantic Security,  MGIMO Institute for International Studies Sergey Markedonov expressed  a similar opinion to ArmInfo.

ArmInfo.The defense of thenephew of former President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan - Narek Sargsyanhas appealed his arrest.  His lawyer, Arthur Pivazyan,  confirms that the complaint was sent to the Court of Appeal.

ArmInfo. The preliminary investigation in the criminal case against the third president of the RA Serzh Sargsyan has been completed. This information is confirmed  by the Special Investigation Service. Thus, the body conducting the  proceedings considered the evidence sufficient to draw up a bill of  indictment in a criminal case and send it to the court.

ArmInfo. Armenia is trying to come to its senses after the abrupt changes in 2018 and build a certain scheme, in line with which it will move on. Director of the  Caucasus Institute, political scientist Alexander Iskandaryan said  this at a meeting with reporters on December 26.

A similar opinion was expressed to ArmInfo by the  leader of the "Republic" party Aram Sargsyan.  Commenting on the  recent statements by Republicans and supporters of Robert Kocharyan  about the need for early elections, the politician said that, in  principle, this is primarily based on the interests of the current  government.

ArmInfo.The court of general jurisdiction of Yerevan granted the request for the arrest of the nephew of the former president of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan - Narek  Sargsyan, Prosecutor General's Office reports.

ArmInfo.The property of the third President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan has been seized. According to information from the Special Investigation Service, the property  of persons undergoing a criminal case has been seized in the amount  of damage caused.

On December 17, Edward Hovhannisyan, deputy chairman of the State Revenue Committee (SRC) of Armenia, at a meeting with reporters, touched upon statements by the head of the Prosperous Armenia (GAP) parliamentary party, Gagik  Tsarukyan, that the authorities were checking only his facilities.

The complaint of the defense side of the former president of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan regarding the decision to prosecute him in a criminal case under  investigation by the RA Special Investigation Service, was rejected.  According to information provided by the press service of the  Prosecutor General, the complaint was rejected in connection with its  groundlessness.

ArmInfo.Serzh Sargsyan's accusation of "diesel business" is only the beginning. Other  accusations are likely to follow this one, the chairman of the  club of journalists Levon Barseghyan expressed a similar  opinion to ArmInfo.

ArmInfo.  Lilit Makunts, the head of the "My Step" parliamentary faction considers it unacceptable to qualify the criminal case against former President Serzh Sargsyan  as political persecution. She stated this to reporters on December 6.

ArmInfo. Owner of "Flash" LLC Barsegh Beglaryan considers new charges against him false.  Yesterday, he was charged under clause 1 of part 3 of article 38-179  of the RA Criminal Code in the same criminal case in which the third  president of the RA Serzh Sargsyan is being charged.
