Thus,  Kocharyan in an interview to the television channel "Yerkir Media",  answering a question about whether he intends to return to the  political arena of the country, said in part: " I have already  returned: why are you confused? Will this be an obstacle? Can anyone  have a dissenting opinion in this country?".

ArmInfo. The lawyer of  CSTO Secretary General Yuri Khachaturov Mihran Poghosyan made a statement in connection with the spread rumors in the media that his client had  received Russian citizenship and thus can avoid the Armenian justice.  According to Poghosyan's report received by ArmInfo, Yuri Khachaturov  is an exclusively Armenian citizen.  Earlier, the Armenian Foreign  Ministry also said that they do not have information whether Yuri  Khachaturov has received or intends to receive a Russian citizenship.

This  opinion was expressed in a conversation with journalists by one of  the lawyers of the second president of Armenia Robert Kocharian Hayk  Alumyan, commenting on the statement of the SIS, which was made  yesterday, in which she called the actions of the Appeal Court in the  Robert Kocharian case "illegal."

A  minute earlier, they managed to break through the resistance of the  security service and climb to the 5th floor of the hotel, where a  meeting with the press will take place.

ArmInfo.The Armenian Criminal  Court of Appeal changed the measure of restraint against Robert  Kocharyan. Thus, the court granted the motion of the 2 nd RA  President to change the measure of restraint in the form of arrest,  even without applying the bail offered earlier by the defense.

The decision of the  Armenian Criminal Court of Appeal to change the measure of restraint  against Armenian 2nd President Robert Kocharyan will be made public  on August 13 at 4:00pm, one of the defendants' lawyers - Aram  Orbelyan stated in an interview with journalists. In his opinion, the  defense's request will be granted.  According to the lawyer today the  arguments of the sides were considered. The lawyer stressed that  Robert Kocharyan has delivered an impressive speech.

The head of the Special Investigation Service of Armenia, Sasun Khachatryan, admits the possibility of summoning for the questioning of ex-President Serzh Sargsyan and former Speaker of Parliament and former Prime Minister  Hovik Abrahamyan within the framework of the March 1, 2008  investigation. He stated this on August 2 in an interview with  reporters.
