ArmInfo.Nathalie Loiseau, chairwoman of the Subcommittee on Security and Defence, European  Parliament has responded to Azerbaijani Ambassador to France Leyla Abdullayeva, who was critical of Le Figaro for its article entitled "Azerbaijan: Baku's great offensive to denigrate France".

ArmInfo. In 2023, the Ukrainian Assistance Fund Dopomoga.am, which was created in Yerevan in 2022 to assist refugees from Ukraine seeking asylum in Armenia, provided a total of assistance to over 6 thousand people. The past year for the Organization was distinguished by the fact that the beneficiaries of the Fund were not only Ukrainian refugees, but also citizens forcibly displaced from Artsakh to Armenia after the  well-known sad events.

ArmInfo. Long-term human rights concerns persisted in Azerbaijan in 2023. The government severely restricted freedoms of expression, assembly, and association. This is stated in the report of the Human Rights Watch  as part of its review of the human rights situation in the world in the Azerbaijan section. 

ArmInfo. In response to Turkey's accusations in connection with actions in the Gaza Strip, Israeli  Foreign Minister Israel Katz reminded Recep Tayyip Erdogan about the Armenian Genocide.

ArmInfo.The Nagorno-Karabakh conflict and the eventual influx into Armenia of more than 100,000 ethnic Armenians who fled the Azerbaijani enclave dominated events in the country in 2023. This is stated in the report  of the international human rights organization Human Rights Watch as part of its review of the human rights situation in the world in the Armenia section.

ArmInfo. The capacity of the Bagratashen checkpoint on the Armenian-Georgian border will at least  double by the end of 2024. Vice-Chairman of the State Revenue Committee Karen Tamazyan told reporters presenting the work on modernizing the checkpoints of the Republic, which started in 2023.
