ArmInfo. Russian troops play an important role in ensuring the security of Armenia. This was announced on November 12 during a meeting with journalists. Armenian  Defense Minister David Tonoyan, referring to the statements of the  Sasna Tsrer party about the need for the withdrawal of Russian troops  from Armenia.

This is reported by the  secretariat of the All-Armenian Sasna Tsrer Party, in response to the  intensification of discussions on the next denial of citizenship to  Sefilyan.

ArmInfo.The member of the ''Sasna Tsrer'' party, the hero of the Karabakh war, Zhirayr  Sefilyan, was again denied backward Armenian citizenship. The press  secretary of Sefilyan Vahagn Avakyan reported this.

This was stated by Osipyan on  November 6 in the parliament, answering the question of how he, the  former hostage, relates to the possibility of the release of Sasna  Tsrer, as well as the country's largest amnesty in the whole history.

ArmInfo.The National Assembly of Armenia on its extraordinary session unanimously with 75 votes voted for the draft law on granting amnesty on criminal cases  on the occasion of 2800th anniversary of Erebuni-Yerevan foundation  and 100th anniversary of the announcement of independence of the  First Armenian Republic.

ArmInfo. The forthcoming amnesty should not extend to the people who committed the murder. Acting Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan told journalists today,  referring to the fact that on October 31 the National Assembly of  Armenia will discuss the draft law on amnesty.

ArmInfo.The Government of Armenia submitted to the National Assembly a draft decision on the  declaration of an amnesty entitled: "On the declaration of an amnesty  on criminal cases on the occasion of the 2800th anniversary of the  founding of Erebuni-Yerevan and the 100th anniversary of the  independence of the First Republic of Armenia".  It is planned that  the draft of this decision will be discussed at the next regular  meeting of the parliament, that is, in early November.
