ArmInfo.Six persons detained overnight on the Armenian- Azerbaijani state border in an attempt to illegally cross it are natives of Bangladesh. This was announced on  May 9 at the press conference in Yerevan by Acting Minister of Defense of Armenia Vigen Sargsyan.

ArmInfo. President of Armenia Armen Sarkissian called on to use inter political situation in the state to solve their issues in the Republic of Artsakh to refrain  from such steps, Armen Sarkissian stated in his interview with the Belarusian journalists. 

ArmInfo. Mass protests in Yerevan and the regions of the country can negatively affect the defense process. This was announced by  Armenian Defense Minister Vigen  Sargsyan on April 28 during a visit to the units of the 4th Army Corps.

ArmInfo. Vigen Sargsyan, acting Defense Minister of Armenia, at a meeting with rehabilitation servicemen touched upon the recent developments in the country, in particular, the participation of soldiers and officers in protest actions.   In this regard, Sargsyan again stressed that the only mission of the serviceman is to ensure the security of the two Armenian republics. "And we will continue to carry out this mission with zeal," Pashinyan said. He also said that the movement of military equipment and manpower to the side of the line of contact of Artsakh did not stop. "And this is fraught with serious threats," Sargsyan said, adding that the Armenian Armed Forces closely monitor the adversar’s steps and are ready at any moment to respond.
