As reported by the Research on Armenian Architecture Foundation, the Azerbaijani side has destroyed the cemeteries in the villages of Avetaranots, Jragatsner, Zardanashen, Madatashen and Sargsashen. "Satellite images from March 2025, show that most of the tombstones in these cemeteries disappeared in 2024. The extent of the damage is not clear from the photographs," the Foundation noted in a statement.
