New Armenia Front again urges opposition and public to unite to Shift Power

New Armenia Public Salvation Front has disseminated a statement wherein it says the power is usurped in Armenia and the mechanism of elections is successfully used by the incumbent "criminal regime" to retain its grip on power.

According to New Armenia, both the constitutional referendum and the amendments to the Election Code pursue one goal - to create more favorable conditions for the incumbent leadership of Armenia to retain power. In this light, the Front urges the opposition to unite against the draft Election Code and the "criminal regime." New Armenia recommends the opposition forces not to go on concessions concerning their five proposals on the draft amendments to the Election Code. 

"The Front hopes the opposition forces and the civil society will take practical steps to unite the people and launch rallies and public disobedience to make the incumbent authorities leave," the statement reads.
