Представители БДИПЧ/ОБСЕ намерены встретиться с парламентскими силами, отказавшимися от участия в президентских выборах в Армении

Прибывшие в
Армению с наблюдательской миссией на президентских выборах представители
БДИПЧ/ОБСЕ намерены встретиться с парламентскими силами, которые ранее
отказались от участия в президентской гонке. Об этом на пресс-конференции в
Ереване заявила руководитель наблюдательской миссии БДИПЧ/ОБСЕ, посол Хайди
Тальявини. Напомним, о своем отказе от участия в выборах заявили в декабре
лидер партии "Процветающая Армения" Гагик Царукян, первый президент
Армении, глава Армянского национального конгресса Левон Тер-Петросян, а тааже
партия АРФ "Дашнакцутюн".


Отвечая на вопрос АрмИнфо о том, насколько
возможна реальная политическая конкуренция на фоне неучастия ведущих
политических сил в выборах, посол Тальявини отметила, что пока рано делать
какие-либо выводы на этот счет, и на встречах с представителями указанных сил
они тщательно обсудят предвыборную ситуацию, что и позволит составить полную
картину.


Позиция наблюдателей относительно выборов
будет отражена в двух промежуточных докладах, которые будут опубликованы после
выборов. "Наша роль - отслеживать все этапы до и после выборов,
соответствие всех этих процессов международным стандартам и внутреннему
законодательству Армении. Для нас важен сам процесс, а не то, какой кандидат победит
на выборах", - подчеркнула глава наблюдательской миссии БДИПЧ/ОБСЕ.


Отметим, президентские выборы в Армении
будут мониторить 274 наблюдателя БДИПЧ/ОБСЕ. Уже 14 января в Армению прибудут
24 долгосрочных наблюдателя, остальные 250 краткосрочных наблюдателей прибудут
15 февраля. В состав наблюдательской миссии входят 13 международных экспертов.



Выборы пройдут 18 февраля. В них примут участие
действующий президент РА Серж Саргсян, бывший премьер-министр Грант Багратян,
лидер партии "Наследие" Раффи Ованнисян, председатель партии
"Объединение самоопределение" Паруйр Айрикян, председатель партии
"Национальное согласие" Арам Арутюнян, бывший глава МИД НКР Арман
Меликян, политолог Андриас Гукасян, эпосовед Вардан Седракян.
