The European Union will continue to try to work with the possibilities to provide financing for civil society actors for instance to meet woman organizations in connection with the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, according to Head of the EU Delegation to Azerbaijan Malena Mard, APA reports.
She says that the EU definitely wants to continue to promote these kinds of platforms where people, women, youth organizations can meet. "You can only move forward with dialogue," she says.
Mard says there is an official track of co-chairs of the Minsk Group, but for sure the EU wants to be a facilitator for people to people contacts.
"This is also within the mandate of the special representative Mr Salber, who will be in Baku for today and tomorrow. He will meet here with officials as well as members of civil society," APA quotes Mard as saying.
