As of January 29, criminal cases have been instituted on 60 facts of violations during the constitutional referendum in Armenia, with 8 cases submitted to the court and 19 persons involved as defendants in 19criminal cases.
However, the working group under the Armenian Prosecutor General's Office keeps investigating various reports, including media reports, statements of the non-governmental organizations, as well as written applications of the citizens.
To recall, the constitutional referendum in Armenia was held on December 6, 2015. By official data, 63.37% of the voters said yes to the constitutional amendments.
