ArmInfo. Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan held a phone conversation with President of the Islamic Republic of Iran Masoud Pezeshkian.
As reported by the press service of the Armenian Prime Minister, Pashinyan presented the results of the talks held on August 8, 2019, in the US capital to the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran emphasizing the opportunities that the peace established between Armenia and Azerbaijan opens up for the region.
Prime Minister Pashinyan emphasized that communications will operate within the framework of the principles of territorial integrity, sovereignty, jurisdiction of countries and on the basis of reciprocity.
He also thanked the President of Iran for his objective assessment of the Washington agreements and emphasized the significance of the upcoming visit of the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran to the Republic of Armenia.
