Armenian rescue teams free 770 vehicles from `snow captivity`

ArmInfo. In the Syunik region of Armenia, rescuers have freed 770 vehicles from snow  captivity. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of  Internal Affairs of the Republic.

The source notes that of the total number of vehicles freed, 210 were  trucks and 560 were cars. The emergency signal was received on  February 24 at 13:57. According to the report, traffic jams formed on  the section of the road called "Devil's Bridge" from the intersection  of the village of Shinuayr. The road was closed in both directions.  An operational group of the regional rescue department of the  Ministry of Internal Affairs left for the scene. As a result of the  measures taken by rescuers and patrol police, the road was opened in  both directions.
