Another Five Il-76s with Russian peacekeepers flew to  Nagorno-Karabakh

ArmInfo.The Russian military transport aviation sent another five Il-76 aircraft with the Russian military from Ulyanovsk to participate in the peacekeeping  operation in Nagorno-Karabakh. This was announced on Wednesday by the  Russian Defense Ministry.

"On November 11, 2020, another five  Il-76 military transport  aircraft with Russian peacekeepers flew from the airfield in the  Ulyanovsk Oblast," the message says. The military department  clarified that the personnel of the units of the 15th separate  motorized rifle brigade (peacekeeping) of the Central Military  District, materiel, automotive and special equipment are on board.

Earlier today, another  three Il-76s flew with peacekeepers. Prior to  that, the Defense Ministry reported that more than 400 Russian  peacekeepers are already in Armenia. In total, 1,960 servicemen, 90  armored personnel carriers, 380 units of automobile and special  equipment will be deployed to deploy the peacekeeping contingent in  the zone of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.
