ArmInfo.Azerbaijan has just struck the Ghazanchetsots church in Shushi for the second time, wounding three journalists who covered the aftermath of the previous strike. Ombudsman of the Artsakh Republic Artak Beglaryan wrote about this in his microblog on Twitter. "This was a deliberate and targeted attack on the church and the journalists they were monitoring with the drone," he said.
According to the information center of the Republic of Artsakh, as a result of the second shelling by the Azerbaijani Armed Forces, Russian journalist Yuri Petrovich Kotenok was seriously wounded. At the moment, doctors are fighting to save his life.
The Armenian Church of St. Ghazanchetsots in the city of Shushi, built in the middle of the 19th century and severely damaged as a result of the conflict in the early 90s, was completely reconstructed after the war. Commenting on the fact of the strike on St. Ghazanchetsots, the representative of the RA Ministry of Defense Artsrun Hovhannisyan limited himself to the phrase: "What can you talk about with those who bomb churches."
