Media: Azerbaijani MIG-29 crash in sea might be caused by Russian EW

ArmInfo. It is possible that  the MIG-29 fighter of Azerbaijan crashed on July 24 night as a result  of the use of the Electronic Warfare System (EW) from the Russian  side. This opinion was expressed to Turan by a military source  familiar with the situation.

According to the information, the plane fell into the sea 70 km from  the coast near the Azerbaijani-Russian border. In favor of this  version of the plane crash, it is also said that currently naval  forces of Russia are conducting on their territory exercises on the  use of EW systems. However, there is no official confirmation of this  version yet.  The search for the MIG-29 fighter of Azerbaijan missing  on July 24 continues. Judging by the press service of the Ministry of  Defense on July 27, searches are conducted near the coast of the  Caspian Sea. According to the Ministry of Defense, the plane fell  into the sea. The pilot condition is unknown, as is the cause and  exact location of the crash.
