ArmInfo. The European Court of Human Rights on April 16, 2019 rejected the requirement to take an interim measure in the case of Manvel Grigoryan, the official website of the ECHR reported.
Earlier, Grigorian's defense, appealing to the ECHR, asked the Armenian authorities to immediately transfer Manvel Grigoryan to a civilian hospital under the supervision of relevant medical specialists for the purpose of further examination and treatment.
The authorized representative of the RA government to the ECHR presented the position of the government, providing all the necessary data confirming the provision of adequate medical care to Grigoryan throughout the entire period of his arrest, pointing out that he was periodically checked and received inpatient treatment in civilian hospitals.
To note, Grigoryan in recent months was in the medical center <Nairi>, where he tried to stabilize the blood sugar titers. However, according to the doctors, Grigorian's health was not normalized.
