ArmInfo. Globalization has led to the threat of destruction of cultural, historical, traditional and spiritual values of states, regardless of their well-being, geographical location. This was announced today at the international conference in Yerevan "Spiritual Values and the Modern State" Head of Globalization Problems Center Alexander Chachiya said.
According to him, all this is replaced by a system of consumer values. <That is, a person is squeezed out of a person, he turns into a dumb controlled being. How it will end is difficult to say, but we are at the junction of an important choice - either humanity will disappear as a species, or it will be revived, "the expert said.
It is remarkable, he stressed, that the situation in the South Caucasus is no different in this respect. <In the South Caucasus states, the value system also is corroding and ceasing to exist on the background of globalization. All these processes are controlled by transnational forces, which are concentrated in their hands financial centers, media, military power>, said the expert.
According to him, the purpose of these forces is the formation of a certain <biomass> - controlled humanity for the implementation of its programs. "And the best way to achieve these goals is to destroy traditional and spiritual values. It is noteworthy, however, that Muslim countries in which religious foundations are stronger are successfully opposing these processes, "said Chachiya.
However, he stressed that the post-Soviet countries, while less susceptible to this corrosion, they still hold on. "But pernicious tendencies have penetrated into our countries," the expert concluded.
In turn, Alexander Krylov, President of the Scientific Society of Caucasians, stated that the modern supranational elite (the oligarchy and the bureaucracy serving it) has its own vision of the prospects for the future development of world civilization in which the role of individual states will steadily decline. According to him, the plan should be replaced by a planetary scale, and modern ethnocultural diversity should replace the uniformity of the new human community with its universal values, culture, morality, way of life.
This process involves the emancipation of the economy from the control of national states, its going beyond the framework of national-state identity, as well as the abandonment of <obsolete> principles and moral norms. The most prominent representative of a supranational oligarchy is, as the expert emphasizes, George Soros. <In 1992, he carried out a currency operation to collapse the British pound sterling, which became a role model among international financial dealers.
It brought George Soros a multi-billion dollar profit, but became ruinous for the British economy and financial system and led to a political crisis, "the expert noted, stressing that globalization had caused a" war of values "on a global scale. According to him, in the European Union this conflict leads to an increase in the popularity of antiglobalism, stimulates disintegration tendencies, separatism, the growth of the popularity of euro skeptics, etc.
"In the US, he largely determined the nature and outcome of the 2016 presidential campaign in which Trump, who triumphed, pointed to the need to return to American national priorities. The victory of D. Trump demonstrates that humanity has already passed the "peak of globalization" in the form of a unipolar American-centric model of the world order, "the expert noted. According to him, at present, the globalization model of the Western model is being replaced by regional blocs oriented towards the creation of a more pluralistic world system, the basis of which will be the <expanded West> (the USA and its allies) and <big Eurasia> led by Russia and China .
