ArmInfo. The investigative committee believes that the cause of the death of 25-year-old Albert Yepremyan under the chassis of the aircraft at Sheremetyevo in November 2018 was a violation of technical regulations by dispatchers of the check-in and boarding group, Kommersant reports.
"The investigators findes that the main version of Yepremyan's infiltration on the airfield is a violation of the established technical regulations for passenger service and baggage handling by dispatchers of the passenger check-in and landing section of the passenger traffic management department of the ground transportation support department," Head of the Moscow Interregional Investigation Department for Transport of the Russian IC, Sergey Vazyulin said to <RIA News>. He noted that other versions are being checked, the investigation of the case has not yet been completed.
To recall, on November 20, the Boeing 737, performing the flight Moscow-Athens, while taxiing to takeoff, knocked down a 25-year-old man who ran across the runway. A passenger plane hit him during acceleration. The pilot of the liner, taking off to Athens, told the dispatchers that he allegedly ran into an animal on the runway. The aircraft systems did not reveal any damage, so they decided not to return the aircraft to the airport of departure. The victim - a citizen of Armenia Albert Yepremyan - was deported from Spain to his homeland with a transfer in Moscow shortly before. According to preliminary data, while landing on a bus to the plane to Yerevan, he managed to escape, after which he ended up on the runway.
