Tbilisi. The Georgian authorities make maximum efforts for the country's accession to NATO as it will be Georgia's security guarantee, Foreign Minister of the country Giorgi Kvirikashvili stated at the event, dedicated to the 10th anniversary of the Information Center of NATO and the EU.
This event has opened the NATO Week in Georgia aimed at providing the population with information on the Alliance and cooperation with it.
"Membership in the Alliance will be a guarantee of Georgia's security, independence and sovereignty. Our authorities make maximum efforts to reach progress on the integration complicated path. We implement many reforms, continue construction of democratic institutions, we have reached important achievements in the security sphere", Kvirikashvili noted.
According to the Vice Prime Minister, Foreign Minister of Georgia, from this point of view, activity of NATO and EU Information Center becomes of great significance.
