ArmInfo. The Israeli Defense Ministry is conducting a verification of the complaint they received from Baku, according to which the operators of the Israeli company Aeronautics Defense Systems refused to comply with the requirement of the Armed Forces of Azerbaijan to attack the Armenian targets to demonstrate the possibility of new unmanned equipment supplied by Israel to Azerbaijan.
According to the newspaper "Maariv a-Shavua", the incident occurred more than a month ago, when the delegation of Aeronautics Defense Systems arrived in Baku to discuss a new contract for the supply of unmanned aerial vehicles, including so-called barrage ammunition. The Azerbaijani military was asked to demonstrate the possibilities of new equipment in the course of actual military operations against the Armenian army, but they were refused. The Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan expected to publish a television broadcast of this attack in order to demonstrate the power of its armed forces. Maariv also reports that, in accordance with the rules of the Israeli Ministry of Defense, Israeli arms suppliers have no right to participate directly or indirectly in hostilities in the territory of other countries unless there is a special order from the Ministry of Defense of the country, which is given only in the most exclusive Cases. The press service of Aeronautics Defense Systems categorically rejected the allegations contained in this complaint, saying that it never conducts demonstrations for live purposes.
