U.S. Ambassador to Armenia John Heffern attended the close debates at the Armenian Parliamentary Commission on Foreign Relations.   

Following the debates, neither the diplomat nor the parliamentarians told the journalists of the details of the meeting.    

To note, earlier the Commission on Foreign Relations discussed Armenia's Accession to the Eurasian Economic Union. The relevant agreement will be considered by the Armenian Parliament next week.  Armenia is expected to join the Eurasian Economic Union in January 2015.
