The first president of Armenia Levon Ter-Petrosyan is a political pensioner and loser. He is better to keep silent than speak, Vice-speaker of the National Assembly, press-secretary of the ruling Republican Party of Armenia, Edward Sharmazanov commented on Ter-Petrosyan's statement that President Serzh Sargsyan should tender his resignation.
As for Ter-Petrosyan's statement that Sargsyan's regime is threatening the NKR security, Sharmazanov recalled Ter-Petrosyan's interview with "Komsomolskaya Pravda" daily in 1992, in which he said that Karabakh should be within Azerbaijan like an autonomous republic.
'Moreover, during the presidential race in 2008 one of the "hot shorts" of Ter-Petrosyan's foreign policy was flirting with Azerbaijanis", - Sharmazanov said.
There is no alternative to Serzh Sargsyan's resignation, the first President of Armenia, the leader of the Armenian National Congress Levon Ter-Petrosyan said in an interview with Ilur.am.
"This is what he must do if he actually cares for the future of Armenia and Nagorno-Karabakh. As President he made a mess of whatever he did except for what concerned the welfare of his clan and his own self, and I am sure that he is no longer able to do anything good for his country," Ter-Petrosyan said.
He believes that it is because of Sargsyan's opportunism that both the West and Russia have begun regarding Armenia as an unreliable partner.
