Tbilisi. Georgian Prime Minister, Bidzina Ivanishvili, will
leave for Israel on June 24 - Georgian Premier's spokesperson told BLACK SEA
PRESS reporter on Thursday, June 20.
This two-day visit will be Ivanishvili's
first visit to Israel in the capacity of Georgian Premier.
"The Premier will pay an official
visit to the State of Israel, June 24-25. The Georgian governmental delegation
will naturally include Georgian Foreign Minister, as well as other Georgian
government officials. The work on the
visit program and composition of the delegation is underway. More detailed
information about the visit will be known later," the spokesperson said.
According to the Israeli media reports,
Israel-Georgia cooperation in the sphere of arms trade has been resumed after
the five-year interval. Namely, Georgia is interested in procurement of Israeli
drones, as well as anti-tank missiles.
