On 8-14 January 2014, Shen Holding participated in two international trade fairs in Germany - Heimtextil Frankfurt and Domotex Hannover. Anna Vardanyan, Corporate Secretary of Shen Holding, has told ArmInfo that due to participation in the trade fairs the company has managed to establish partnership with international textile and flooring manufacturers.          

Vardanyan says that Shen Holding's international partners Zambaiti Parati, Marburg, Erismann, Yebane, Gemini Padana, Angelo Carillo, Ifi, ZogoMetal also took part in the two specified annual trade fairs. 

"Thanks to these trade fairs, the specialized stores of the Holding, particularly, Shen Textile and Shen Decor will replenish and considerably extend the range of the brand name homeware", says the Corporate Secretary. She points out that Shen Holding participated in the trade fairs for the sixth time running. 

Shen Holding specializes in producing and selling construction materials, including paints, varnishes, concrete blocks, mixed concrete, paving slabs. The Holding has popular brand names such as Shen Textile, Shen Decor, Shen Design.  The company is also active in Georgia. For the moment it is forming its own base of raw materials and has the biggest gypsum quarry in the region. To-date, Shen Holding has created over 500 jobs.

Shen Holding dates back to 1970 when the largest enterprise for state supplies of non-ferrous metals ("HayGunMet") was established. In 1995, the latter was privatized and transformed into Shen Concern CJSC. Having merged with Huntsman Building Products, Shen Concern was converted into Shen Holding which nowadays encompasses Shen Concern CJSC, Huntsman Building Products and Shen Group.
