The Feb 26 hacking attack made by Azerbaijan was a planned attack. On Feb 26 Azeri hackers usually make attempts to crack Armenian websites. The latest attack made some Armenian websites inoperative even without cracking them, cyber security expert Samvel Martirosyan said at a press conference in Yerevan on Thursday when commenting on yesterday's Azeri hacking attacks on 300 Armenian websites. 

Martirosyan thinks the attacks may even continue till Feb 28. He recalled that on Thursday night a few more sites were cracked: when opening the sites Armenian users found themselves on an Azeri page with propaganda about Khojalu.      

"The fact is that Azeris did a successful job and now we face a problem of national importance. They discredit the domain .am and threaten the security of the websites", he said. He also stressed that it is also the problems of the users. Martirosyan is convinced that the attacks are the work of experienced hackers.
