Foreign ministers of Armenia and Azerbaijan Edward Nalbnadyan and Elmar Mammadyarov have met in Kyiv to discuss the Nagorno-Karabakh problem.
The press service of Armenia's Foreign Ministry reports that the FMs first met tete-a-tete and then with the OSCE Minsk Group co-chairs and the personal representative of the OSCE CiO.
Following up on the presidential meeting that took place in Vienna on Nov 19, the FMs and the co-chairs exchanged views on further steps to reduce tension in the conflict zone.
They agreed to continue the discussion within the next weeks. The co- chairs said that they are planning to visit the region shortly.
The FMs stressed the importance of the OSCE MG as a negotiating format and thanked the co-chairs for their efforts to settle the conflict.
