Abbas Abbasov Calls On Ilham Aliyev To Cooperate Constructively With Russia

Baku. The head of the Union of Azerbaijani Organizations in
Russia  (UAOR), Abbas Abbasov, sent the
Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev a congratulatory message on the occasion of
the Day of National Salvation.

Abbasov wished Ilham Aliyev and
Azerbaijani people "stability and peace, the return of the native
Azerbaijani lands occupied by Armenians, strengthening  cooperation and close, fruitful and
constructive cooperation with the nearest neighbor - Russia, which has become
a  second home for millions of
Azerbaijanis."

This is the second statement from  Abbasov this week, which highlights the need
for a constructive relationship with Russia. In the first statement  Abbasov sharply criticized the forces in
Azerbaijan, which prevent the development of normal relations with Russia.
