


ArmInfo. The European Community Summit, which will take place in Yerevan on May 4, is a major event with significant political importance for Armenia's international standing. RA Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan made this statement at a meeting on April 6 focused the organization and holding of the 8th European Community Summit (EPC).
According to the PM's Office, Pashinyan emphasized that tremendous work has been done to organize and hold the summit at the proper level, and that today's meeting aims to discuss the work already accomplished and upcoming events. In turn, Arayik Harutyunyan, Chief of Staff to the Prime Minister and Chairman of the Organizing Committee of the 8th European Political Community Summit, noted that preparatory work is approaching its final stage. He added that purpose of the meeting is to present the work already completed, hear comments and suggestions, and summarize the results.
Further details on the development of the event concept and conceptual planning were presented. Other substantive and organizational issues were also discussed, including infrastructure and technical equipment, ensuring logistical accessibility, and so on. The above-mentioned issues were addressed.
The Prime Minister once again emphasized the importance of organizing and holding the summit at a high level and gave specific instructions for further tasks in various areas.
