ArmInfo. The situation on the Armenian-Iranian border is currently stable, and the influx of refugees hasn't reached critical levels, as stated by Amenian Deputy Interior Minister Armen Ghazaryan to reporters when asked about Iranians attempting to cross the Armenian border due to the US and Iranian aggression against Iran.
The Deputy Interior Minister assured that the Armenian side is closely monitoring the situation in the neighboring country and at the border checkpoint, and that additional information will be provided if necessary. All other information, he said, was provided following a meeting of the Armenian Security Council. "If there is a need for more information, the Armenian Security Council and our colleagues will do so," Ghazaryan stated. He was unable to answer, however, whether the Armenian authorities have a plan if Armenia faces a massive wave of refugees from Iran. "In any such situation, information is provided as needed and by the relevant authorities," Ghazaryan reiterated.
