Aram I responds to Pashinyan`s sarcasm directed at him

ArmInfo.  Since Armenia's independence, the views and position of the Catholicosate of the Great House of Cilicia have always been clear and consistent in the face of the crises and challenges facing Armenia, both  internal and external, as stated by Catholicos Aram I of the Great  House of Cilicia.

"Therefore, Antelias does not need dictates or instructions from  Yerevan. Antelias  determines for itself what he should do and say,  always guided by the common and highest interests, values, and ideals  of our people and homeland," Aram I said.

Recall, during a government meeting in parliament on October 22,  Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan once again criticized the Church, this  time ridiculing the statements by Catholicos Aram I of the Great  House of Cilicia. Pashinyan sarcastically noted that the statements  of the Catholicos of the Great House of Cilicia seemed to resemble  "shots from the end of a film: interesting moments from the filming  or scenes not included in the film about Armenia's destruction."
