ArmInfo. A possible resolution of the Russian-Ukrainian conflict and global agreements between Russia and the United States will have their impact on the South Caucasus region. This point of view is shared by Tigran Abrahamyan, a member of the National Assembly of Armenia from the opposition faction With Honor.
According to him, this circumstance determines the scenario according to which events in the region will develop.
"Although statements regarding various provisions of the negotiations with Armenia are periodically heard from Azerbaijan, I have the impression that Baku is in a wait-and-see position. Since the new administration came to power in the United States, various countries have been trying to clarify their positions on the conflict. This concerns not so much the US approaches to solving problems, but rather whether the use of force in one case or another is a "red line" for the United States or whether this topic is not interesting and relevant for them at this stage," the deputy emphasized.
