ArmInfo. On November 26, Alen Simonyan, the Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia, received the President of Poland, Andrzej Duda, who is in Armenia for an official visit. The meeting covered a wide range of issues concerning the Armenian- Polish agenda in an expanded format.
As reported by the press service of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia, the Speaker of the National Assembly expressed gratitude to the President of Poland for his visit to Armenia and noted that he was glad to receive him in the National Assembly. "I assure you that Armenian-Polish cooperation will continue to strengthen, bringing Armenia closer to the EU," the President of Poland said.
The interlocutors also discussed matters concerning interparliamentary cooperation, economic issues of mutual interest, regional developments, the issue of Armenian prisoners held in Azerbaijan, and Armenia- EU relations.
