ArmInfo.Armenian Foreign Minister Zohrab Mnatsakanyan, in New York on the margins of the 73rd session of the UN General Assembly, discussed with his counterpart from Mongolia Damdin Tsogtbar the development of trade and economic relations.
According to the press service of the Foreign Ministry of Armenia, the parties discussed a wide range of issues on the bilateral agenda, exchanged views on the prospects for cooperation in the field of innovation and information technology.
At the end of the meeting, the foreign ministers of Armenia and Mongolia signed an agreement on the liberalization of the visa regime for citizens of the two countries with diplomatic and service passports. The parties expressed their conviction that the agreement paves the way for the simplification of the visa regime between the countries, which in turn will allow to stimulate contacts between people.
