ArmInfo.Former commander of the police forces, former deputy head of the Armenian Police Levon Yeranosyan was summoned to the Special Investigation Service of the  Republic of Armenia. This was reported to the correspondent by  ArmInfo press secretary of the CAS Marina Ohanjanyan.

"Levon Yeranosyan was summoned to the Special Investigation Service  to conduct investigative actions with his participation," she  explained.

However, Ohandjian did not specify in what case and in what status he  was called. "We will inform you about the details later," the SIS  representative said.

In the course  of the incident on March 12, 2017, his brother Lernik Yeranosyan, the  head of the village administration of Jrarat, Armavir region, also  appeared. The incident occurred between supporters of the  pre-election bloc "Ohanyan-Raffi-Oskanian" and the Republican Party.   According to the UK, a brawl took place, which turned into a fight,  during which Yeranosyan fired one shot into the air from his pistol.   As part of the incident, 5 people were subjected to the drive, two  more were guilty. When asked if  Yeranosyan would punish him for his actions, Pashinyan replied: "Part  of the punishment that is in the jurisdiction of the prime minister  will be realized, and for the rest I have already said that I can not  simultaneously be a prime minister, an investigator, a prosecutor and  judge ". As the prime minister said, an investigation will be carried  out on specific cases, and corresponding answers are given. May 22  this year. Armenian President Armen Sarkissian signed today a decree  on the release of Levon Yeranosyan from the post of commander of the  republic's police forces and from police service.
