Early in the morning, the protesters blocked the entrances to government offices located on the Republic Square. These actions of protesters led to clashes between the police and protesters, dozens of people were subjected to the drive. Journalists also suffered. Then, the participants of the protest action by several groups started the procession along the streets of Yerevan in different directions.
Participants of the action, moving through the streets of Yerevan, with banners "If you are against Serzh, push signal!". This call was approved by the Armenian drivers, who did not skimp on the "signals", and did it quite rhythmically.
During the processions, several incidents occurred, so in the third section, the passer-by complained that she received a kick in the back from the policeman when she tried to prevent the detention of one of the activists. YSU students removed a portrait of Serzh Sargsyan from the wall and, wrapping the frame with a black ribbon, carried the processions ahead. The incident also occurred in the courthouse. One of the activists threw a photograph of Sargsyan out of the window.
At the moment, one of the groups of activists blocked the passage on Komitas Avenue, another group is located on Arshakunyats Avenue, and the third headed by the leader of the "Make a Step" movement, MP Nikol Pashinyan is in a children's park near Yerevan Municipality. A large police force is being dragged to the Republic Square.
Pashinyan said that they are pursuing a mobile strategy, based on the development of the situation. "I do not hide that we are constantly changing the place of action, depending on the deployment of law enforcement forces," he said.
Pashinyan also urged the authorities not to hope that the popular movement will subside. "All this will cease only when the police go over to the people," he said, referring to the guards of order.
