ArmInfo. Armenia has thrown discredit on loyalty to Russia during April war in Karabakh confict area, reads the Stratfor report regarding Russia
"Probably, the situation went worse particularly due to the fact that Russia was too busy with conflicts in Syria and Ukraine to intervene this conflict," the article reads. Within this, the experts of Stratfor think that if the West softens its pressure on Russia, the Moscow position as the arbiter of the conflict will get improved.
According to experts, even those countries which were more or less neutral in the West-Russia opposition, could revise their positions. "Moscow may also rehabilitate integration initiatives, such as Eurasian Economy Union, because the increasing political disagreement in Europe will become an obstacle for EU to get focused on the Project on Eastern Partnership," the report Reads.
In general, the report authors thin that after 3 year economic drop down and quarrels with the West Russia's situation grows better. Former CIS countries monitor the situation in Washington and Europe, and may make a reassessment of their positions in respect to Moscow.
According to their opinion, during next year Russia will try to increase its influence on the closest neighbors due to the new administration in Washington and EU split. " Political changes taking place in Europe and United States, could give Moscow more opportunities to recover its reputation throughout whole the Eurasia."
