ArmInfo. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has departed for a working visit to the Islamic Republic of Iran. The press service of the Armenian government reported this.
According to the source, today, July 3, the Prime Minister will attend the official funeral ceremony for the late Supreme Leader of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Ali Khamenei, in Tehran.
The ceremony for the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, has already begun in Iran, Press TV reports. The coffin containing the body was delivered to the ceremony site near the Imam Khomeini Mosque in Tehran. Footage released from the event shows the arrival of the motorcade and the transfer of the coffin to the memorial area. Iran's Supreme Leader was killed in an airstrike. He and several other high-ranking officials were killed on February 28, 2026, during a joint US-Israeli airstrike on the outskirts of Tehran.
