ArmInfo. The Central Electoral Commission (CEC) of Armenia has presented an incorrect number of votes received by the Prosperous Armenia Party (PAP) at several polling stations during the country's regular parliamentary elections on June 7. PAP spokesperson Iveta Tonoyan announced this on her Facebook page.
In this regard, she recalled that their political force had previously initiated a vote recount process at several polling stations . "By cross-referencing information received from various locations, we have documented the following picture. According to the Commission's protocol, at polling station 27/7, the PAP received 77 votes, whereas the CEC website displays 1 vote. At polling station 12/20, 26 electors voted for the PAP, but the CEC website indicates 1 vote; at polling station 27/26, the PAP received 19 votes, while the CEC website lists only 3 votes. Furthermore, at polling station 38/53, the PAP received 7 votes, whereas the CEC website shows 4 votes," Tonoyan pointed out.
The party's press secretary emphasized that all of these are irrefutable facts, and anyone can see these discrepancies on the Commission's website. She reported that these findings have already been submitted to the Central Election Commission and that changes are currently being made. "We continue to document new violations at various polling stations and will provide updated information on them in the near deadline," Tonoyan concluded.
