The breakthrough in the negotiating process on peaceful settlement of the Karabakh conflict, in particular, during the Paris meeting of the presidents of Armenia and Azerbaijan, fully depends on the position of Baku, vice-speaker of the Armenian parliament, Edward Sharmazanov, told journalists.
He also added that just Baku displays a destructive position in the matter of peaceful settlement of the Karabakh conflict, as it torpedoes progress in the negotiations. "If Baku changes its position, and displays constructivism in the talks, I think we shall manage to fix progress",- Sharmazanov said. He also emphasized that they will not manage to finally resolve the conflict without the fully-fledged participation of Stepanakert in the talks. "Without the viewpoint of Stepanakert and the Karabakh people, the conflict cannot be finally resolved", - he concluded.
