Baku. The Iranian
Ambassador to Azerbaijan, Mohsen Pakayin discussed with Adalat Valiyev, the
Deputy Minister of Culture and Tourism
the ways to expand cultural cooperation between the two countries.
According to the Iranian Embassy in
Baku, the new head of the Iranian
Cultural Center in Baku Dr. Ibrahim Ibrahimi also attended the meeting.
Participants discussed the conducting
the Days of Culture of Azerbaijan
in Iran in the first half of this year, the visit of the Minister of
Culture Abulfaz Garayev in Iran , as well as the extension of the agreement on
cooperation in the field of culture. It was decided that the validity of the
agreement will be extended during the visit of A.Garayev to Iran.
Deputy Minister Adalat Valiyev, in
turn, stressed the great potential in the development of relations between the two countries in the field of
cinema , music and theater. Valiyev also stressed the interest of Azerbaijani
tourists to Iran, including such cities as Gilan and Ardabil. Azerbaijan's tourism potential will also be
interesting for the Iranian tourists, said Veliyev. He expressed hope on visit to Iran in early June.
