ArmInfo. The concept of army development will be adopted by the end of the year, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said in an interview with Public Radio.
As the prime minister pointed out, the new concept should reconsider military-technical cooperation with countries. "We need to understand with whom we should develop military and military-technical relations. In the past there was no such issue, just as there were no difficulties with the concept. In the past, Armenia's relations in the defense sector were 95-97% connected with the Russian Federation. Now it cannot be for objective and subjective reasons," he said.
As he said, according to the concept, it is necessary to understand what kind of relations Armenia will build with India, Iran, Georgia, the USA, the Russian Federation and France, whether Armenia will remain part of the CSTO, etc. In general, as the head of the Cabinet explained, the document should include specific agreements that will be implemented.
