ArmInfo. US President's National Security Advisor Michael Waltz in a conversation with the National Security Advisor of Azerbaijan made it clear that US President Donald Trump would like to see the release of Armenian prisoners as part of the peace treaty between Armenia and Azerbaijan. According to a message received by ArmInfo, Jared Genser, International Legal Advisor on Legal Issues of the former Minister of State of Artsakh, Ruben Vardanyan, stated this in an interview with the famous American host and lawyer Hugh Hewitt.

In a similar way, Yerevan Mayor Tigran Avinyan commented on the results of Gyumri elections, where  Sarik Minasyan, the candidate from the Civil Contract  (Civil  Contract - the ruling party) received 35.7% of the votes according to  preliminary estimates, in response to journalists' inquiries.  , - he said.  In response to  journalists' comments about Minasyan's  statement that he would  receive 50% or more of the voters' votes, the mayor of Yerevan noted  that during the pre-election stage, different political forces make  different statements, many of which should not be taken seriously.

ArmInfo. Arayik Khzmalyan has been  appointed as the Chairman of the Public Council. The relevant decree  was signed by Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan on April 9.   Arayik Khzmalyan has been serving as Deputy Minister of Education,  Science, Culture and Sports of the Republic of Armenia since June 4,  2019. On July 17, 2023, he was elected as the  Director of  Matenadaran.
