ArmenTel (Beeline trademark) has launched projects to install a telephone system in Tsaghkahovit community of Aragatsotn region and to digitize the telephone network of the town of Akhtala in Lori region.
The press service of the company reports that the projects are supposed to be finished by the end of Dec 2013.
In Voskepar and Achajur communities of Tavush region ArmenTel is planning to install ADSL2+ systems so as to give local residents access to high-speed broadband Internet.
"With a view to improve the lives of people, we continue actively developing our infrastructure in regions. By the end of this year our customers in Akhtala, Achajur, Vospepar and Tsaghkahovit will get access to modern technologies and services," ArmenTel's CEO Andrey Pyatakhin says.
As of today ArmenTel has laid 13,000 km of cable and 3,500 km of optical fiber.
